Rayni Gauci is a Chartered Accountant who has been working in the Healthcare Industry for over 15 years. Her experience ranges from small start-up launches to large multinational organisations. Her specialty is identifying the optimal pathway to maximise commercial outcomes and driving the company to reach its full potential.

Rayni moved into the Healthcare Industry as a Commercial Manager at Bayer Healthcare where she was integral in bringing Bayer and Schering together to become one of the top 10 pharmaceutical companies in Australia. Key projects during her tenure included the implementation of a robust management reporting system providing the Executive and Global Team with accurate and timely reporting, developing and implementing strategies to support post-patent life assets to maximise their value and managing the cross-functional team to launch new products into the market from Phase III trials to 1 year post launch.

From Bayer Rayni moved to a Commercial Lead role at Hahn Healthcare, a strategic consulting company to the Australian Healthcare space. Her responsibilites were developing strategies for clients, project managing the implementation of solutions and ensuring the successful delivery of the strategy. Among her Clients at Hahn Healthcare were GSK, Pfizer, MSD, Astellas, Besins Healthcare and many more.

The success of these strategies is evident in the growth of Hahn Healthcare - from 5 people to over 200 when she left. Hahn made it to the BRW Fast 100 list 3 years in a row on the back of this success.

Rayni wanted to further develop her entrepreneurial skills after this success and founded her own start-up. She joined with an Inventor who had developed a world-first capability to measure human movement. Together they developed a product called HumanTrak. Rayni’s role was to turn the technology into a product. After successfully launching and selling across 5 markets - Sports, Healthcare, OH&S, Research and Military - she was able to demonstrate the clear value of the product and onsell it to Vald Performance to launch it globally.

At SP Health, Rayni will bring together all her commercial experience and support the company to maximise their assets.
